Salam Neighbour participated in a collaborative iftaar with Iroquois MSA, bringing together students and communities for a night of reminders, connection, and unity during Ramadan. The event strengthened bonds between youth and offered a shared space to learn from one another.
In collaboration with MSAs at McMaster, Humber College, and Laurier University, SN hosted outreach booths during Ramadan to raise awareness of the reason and benefits of fasting in Ramadan, Each booth featured poster displays, interactive elements, and one-on-one conversations with university and college students.
Salam Neighbour hosted a booth at MIST Toronto, one of the largest Muslim youth tournaments in the country. We connected with MSA leads, student volunteers, and hundreds of attendees to share what SN offers—from school presentations to da’wah training. Many students expressed interest in volunteering and bringing SN to their campuses.
Held at Dar Foundation, this unique session focused on supporting new Muslims as they prepared to fast for their first Ramadan. The workshop was led by a revert himself, creating a safe and relatable space to ask questions, share experiences, and build community.
