DESCRIPTION:As part of our The World Religions Course\, we will be visiting a few classrooms at a Catholic School to deliver an interactive and engaging workshop! \nThis fun\, informative session gives students an opportunity to learn about the core beliefs\, practices\, and values of Islam\, while also addressing common misconceptions and encouraging open\, respectful dialogue. \nTopics include: \n\nWhat do Muslims believe?\nWhat is the Qur’an and how is it used?\nWhy do Muslims pray five times a day?\n6 articles of faith.\nMisconceptions.\nAnd more – with lots of opportunities to ask questions (anonymous)!\n\nThe workshop is designed to be student-friendly\, engaging\, and interactive\, with activities and discussion throughout to keep students involved and curious. \nOur goal is to foster understanding\, respect\, and connection\, while helping students see the diversity and richness of the Muslim experience – both globally and right here in Canada.
